5. Will it be used by a single person in a smoking session?

6. How long would I like my smoking sessions to last?

By answering the above questions you will have a better idea of the hookah you should buy.

Where to Shop for Your Hookah

If you wish to buy a hookah then you can go to a store or you can find one on the web. At a physical shop, you get the advantage of checking a number of different hookahs physically and taking advice from the seller.

If you are a a more experienced hookah smoker, or are okay with not being able to physically check merchandise before buying, you may prefer to buy a hookah on the internet.

Types of Hookahs to look at

There are several types of hookahs and each type is suited to particular taste and purposes. Some types are:

1. Egyptian Hookah - Really common, conventional, moderately priced hookah, characterized by tall, thin stems, and generally made from copper, brass, or stainless steel.

2. Syrian Hookah - The hoseport of this kind of hookah features an upward angle. It is a little more expensive in comparison to the Egyptian hookah.

3. Crystal Hookah - These kind of hookahs are really stylish and quite costly. Crystal hookahs may also be used for decoration in the home because of its design and classiness.

4. Rotating Hookah - Produced from stainless steel, these type of hookahs are best for use by multiple people in one smoking session due to the spinning base, which makes it easy to pass the hose. These hookahs are not more expensive than Egyptian hookahs.

5. Mini Hookah - Usually low-cost, these hookahs are great for individuals who travel a lot and love to smoke.

6. Specialty Hookah - The cost of a specialty hookah will change according to your requirements. These are best hookahs for individuals who want unique design.

Before You Make the Purchase

It would be good if you test out different types of hookah before you choose one. The use of all types of hookahs is similar, to smoke. But specific characteristics of a hookah can make it a better fit for you. For instance, some users prefer a smaller hookah to a larger hookah because the latter uses more suction to smoke. Additionally, a larger bowl (typically holds x ounces of shisha) can last considerably longer than average bowls (made for x ounces of shisha).

It is a great idea to try different hookahs at a hookah bar before your buy one. If you purchase the right hookah, you can use it for many years. So be sure you buy the right hookah.
