What you can do is explore dense tropical rainforests, or take in the fascinating, rich native culture. And for the ones who like less adventure and more of sunbathing, what could be better than the numerous Caribbean beaches. So, sun bathe at the picturesque heart shaped Magens Bay on St. Thomas or the Orient Beach on St. Martin. There is also something for golf lovers as there are a number of world renowned golf courses. Designed by some of the greats of the golf world are some of these golf courses. And if you are thinking of less energetic pastimes you can opt for other Caribbean activities like visiting museums, sugar mills bearing marks of history, distilleries of rum and plantations.

If you are traveling alone then you can hop from activity to activity as you wish. It would be a good idea to speak to a travel agent and make sure your chosen resort will meet the needs of all family members if you are traveling with your family. A little planning in advance should make it easy to meet everyone's needs and expectations but first, speak to your family and make sure that they will enjoy the vacation.

Scuba diving is one of the most popular Caribbean activities, and it is something that every visitor to the Caribbean should try. There are few locations in the world as suitable for scuba diving as the Caribbean, with its clear waters, and calm weather. There are a variety of sites, some of which are more popular with tourists, and others offering you the chance to experience scuba diving the way the locals do it and no matter what time of year you visit, scuba diving will be available.

You get to decide how you choose to engage in scuba diving and in both ways, you will given an experience you will never forget. Regardless of what you do, you can also be sure that you will have an exhilarating experience, and most likely you will want to return to the Caribbean again and again.
