Other family favourites include Holiday World, which is a popular amusement park featuring traditional fun fair style attractions including a rollercoaster, a 27 metre high Ferris wheel, shooting stalls and a laserdome. The attraction also boasts a health spa and fitness centre for older visitors.

Palmitos Park offers a huge selection of unique flora and fauna. There are also more than 200 different species of birds including toucans, cranes, peacocks, hummingbirds, macaws and flamingos. Other attractions at the park include a butterfly house and a cactus garden. The highlight for many is gibbon island, home to a community of white handed gibbons, originating from Burma and Malaysia.

Aside from the attractions, there are many fantastic walks and cycle routes, near the holiday villas or apartments.
