Other than having how many levels, the location should also be considered. If one wishes to be a lot more exclusive, you can choose those are far away from the common ones. One cottage could be nearest to the shore or river or swamp. Another could be up in the air. Not meaning that it is floating but a tree house sort of house.
But it all comes down to your budget in renting. Those types have different rental fees and they wanted to save as much money they could that is why they chose the bed space. Included in the budget is how many nights one plans to stay and these two were planning to stay for a week. So it makes sense why they chose the cheapest type.
