How To Post Meindl Boots

By Simon Graft

Precisely how heavy are military shoes? If you are looking to ship some large, chunky patrol boots then you've in all probability asked this question. Especially if you need to post them overseas. When your product is pretty large it can result in some quite substantial charges which is not great when you have most probably had to spend quite a bit on the boots to begin with.

I first came across this issue as I needed to send back some faulty boots to a police force and armed service retailer. Thankfully I still had the shoe box, if I hadn't, they could have been pretty tricky to pack up. They ended up costing me 15 to send back for the reason that had been so large and heavy. I had been fortunate because this expense was reimbursed for me. The reason being these were malfunctioning shoes and it was not really my fault that these were required to be delivered back to the company I got them from.

Now, I've needed to mail my dad some Meindl Boots. He is over in Northern Ireland with his work and he requires his other pair of boots mailed up to him. In this situation too I'll ensure I get repaid for the cost of mailing them. It isn't really my fault he forgot these and desires them to get posted to him. This time around I made a decision to look at different ways of dispatching the boots and seeing if there is a less costly mailing service which I could use.

I did a little searching on the internet and I was able to get a courier who'd can come and pick-up the package in addition to deliver it to his doorway for only 6. Sure, this meant I needed to wait in at home for half a day waiting for them to arrive to get the parcel from myself and that wasn't ideal. Nonetheless it was a great deal less costly so it was definitely worth this kind of minor trouble. It was actually a reason to stay in and enjoy a bit of daytime TV! If they hadn't arrived on-time to get the package, I would have been quite irked though.

That simply just goes to show how it's well worth checking alternatives in advance of purchase. And that is not just when posting things! I've also had another search online for army shoes or boots and I'm pretty amazed that so many retailers want to provide free delivery for this sort of product. When you read the information of Meindl shoes, it tells you that a single shoe might weigh more than 700 grams. Shipping them will not be cheap can it?

  1. That's exactly been my problem. I am not aware of any postal services that are cheaper to post heavy shoes. I just purchase military shoes from Poilimil using the Polimil Discount Codes to cut my cost on military shoes rather than going for a cheaper postal service.
