My sunglasses crashed towards the ground, cracked below my back wheel and, with the commotion of sunlight along with wrecking my shades, I somehow swerved and hit a rock and flew off my bike. I'm pleased to report that I was not injured. But if I had been on more troublesome ground than a woodland path it might have been quite different.
After that I have read some reviews and found that a low quality nose piece is a giveaway with lots of counterfeit sunglasses. So that makes a much more sense now. I wish I just invested some more money on my sunglasses. The low cost Oakley sunglasses really let me down and I travelled all the way home squinting in the sunshine in addition to practically being blinded by insects. I heaved myself off the floor and instantly realised that the money I had saved was not worth it at all.
Next time I buy sunglasses I will most certainly only be getting authentic, leading brand glasses and I'll get them from a store I know will have the real thing. If you shop well you can still find some Cheap Oakley Sunglasses. Paying out the money to get a top quality set is much more preferable when compared to buying a cheap, knock-off pair which will perform nothing more than looking rather good. Someone also observed that I actually have little idea what sun protection I had been getting through my low priced eyewear so I suppose there's that safety factor to weigh up as well.
