All About Hookah And Shisha flavors

By John McCree

Are you searching for a good shisha flavor? In this article, we will discuss how you can find and buy the perfect kind of shisha flavor for yourself.

Hookahs are used to smoke flavorful tobacco, normally termed as "shisha". The modern day shisha includes all or some of the following things:

1. Tobacco

2. Treacle (uncrystallized syrup produced in refining sugar)

3. Honey

4. Sugar

5. Molasses

6. Glycerin

7. Nicotine

8. Dried Fruit

9. Distilled Water

The hookah smokers prefer the typical fruity flavors like apple, banana or mango. But, there are a lot of new and creative flavors on the market such as Starbuzz's "Blue Mist". Most of the newer flavors do, however, take their cues from the tried and tested traditional fruit flavors. This includes flavors such as banana split and blueberry muffin.

There are many different shisha flavors available nowadays because it is very easy to add flavors during the production. Any substance can be mixed in dried tobacco in the production to make unique flavors.

Social Smoking

Hookah is usually shared in a social setting where the smokers may gather for friendly discussion and to enjoy the fragrance produced by the flavored shisha smoke. As hookahs grew in popularity throughout the Middle East centuries ago, it became typical to see them in eating and drinking establishments. Today they are seen in places from smoking parlors, to nightclubs, to the home.

The smoke from shisha has a calming impact on the smoker, which is one of the main factors why it became popular swiftly. As a contrast to cigarettes, hookah smoking is done more as a social pursuit and for the flavor, rather than for any sort of biological impact. Whereas cigarettes provide more of a "quick fix" with a strong dose of nicotine and a normally unpleasant odor, a flavorful hookah session may last 60 minutes or longer, and shisha doesn't have near the addictive qualities as cigarettes.

Getting the Most Flavor from Your Hookah

To get the most out of your hookah you do not need much, but simply some good common sense and a sound sense of discipline. The first and most important thing is to clean your device regularly. Wash your hookah with warm soapy water right after each use, or at the very least wash it meticulously in between changing brands or flavors.

If you want to enjoy a smooth smoking session then you need to stop the coals from burning the tobacco in the middle of the session. This can be done by maintaining some distance between the foil and tobacco. When you're packing the bowl, leave a few millimeters between the top of your tobacco and the plane created by the rim of the bowl. In this way, when you will wrap the aluminum foil on the top of the rim, there'll be distance between the foil and tobacco. You may also place two toothpicks crossed on top of the mound to ensure space between the shisha and foil. Additionally, when "packing" the bowl, don't pack the tobacco down firmly. Rather, loosely pile it into a nice mound allowing the air to go through the mound. This will also stop the tobacco from burning as quickly, and it will need less suction on the hose to have a nice, full flavorful hit. To prevent overheating some people use two sheets of aluminum foil. The name of the game here is: KEEP IT THOROUGHLY CLEAN AND DON'T BURN THE SHISHA!
