Travelling means fun! Who does not get excited about holidays and out of town vacations? Well, probably, nobody. While travelling entails a lot of excitement and fun, it's also a known fact that there are times when travelling poses some health threats. Are you aware that the most typical health issue that tourists face is stomach flu? Yes you read it right. Most tourist have already been victims of stomach flu at some point. For that reason, you might want to stay even more careful on your next trip. To have a great travelling experience you must follow some recommendations which can make travelling experience fun.

If you are a gastronomic traveller, it is quite imperative for you to watch what you eat. Sure, eating food the place has to offer is a nice thing, however, consider that your health might also be jeopardised if you don't watch what you eat. Surely, you can find other things to enjoy without putting your health at risk.

For those who don't know, street food and water is one of the foods that is extremely prone to contamination. And if your digestive system isn't used to those types of food, you might end up with stomach flu.

If you're out of your comfort zone and you're not very comfortable with the food they serve, it is best to opt for fresh fruits and canned goods instead. Usually, there is no harm in eating canned goods and fruits instead of having inappropriately cooked local recipes. One more thing that you have to consider is your hands. Frequent hand washing is the number one step in preventing the spread of diseases.

Never try local wines. This may come across as an assertive remarks but local wines have been found guilty of smearing many people's travelling experience. Always understand, what you ingest will directly damage your mood, so try to stay away from oily food to maintain a healthy travelling experience.
