What Are The Bay Area Events for Kids?

By Robbie Feerst

The Bay Area is a great place to live in, especially if you are raising a family. Perfect for outdoor fun is the temperate weather because the kids can safely play outside to their heart's content. To keep the kids entertained all year long, there is also a wide variety of man-made attractions and festivals. During fall season, take your kids to these Bay Area events and watch them go crazy over the fun activities and games.

With a business opportunity like this, how can you make this grow? You may also consider princess tea parties for a little girls birthday. If you don't want to add extra liability to your business, you don't even have to cater the food. The things you need to have may include: stock of princess outfits for the girls to dress up in, a camera to take their pictures, and a lot of fancy tea party accessories. The more eloquent and elaborate, the better, and this is true when it comes to a princess tea party. Other than that, you could even pay family or friends to dress up as the child's favorite princess and stop by for pictures.

The Junior Center of Art and Sciences (JCAS) is holding an exciting event for cookie lovers of all ages, on the 16th of October. You have to bring your entire family to the Fall Cookie Festival, a mouthwatering afternoon of fun where everyone can enjoy a delicious assortment of activities. Cookie walk games, painting workshops, storytelling, and face painting, are some of the activities. Kids will also learn how to decorate cookies at booths and a pastry chef will be teaching everyone how to make the perfect chocolate chip cookie. Attending this event as a family will mean more than just cookie-themed things for the family to do. This proceeds of the Fall Cookie Festival that will benefit the center's Outreach, Scholarship, and Animal Ambassador Programs.

Fairyland And the Jack O'Lantern Jamboree

Fairyland celebrates Halloween with a variety of games that are more delightful than they are frightful. For the Jack O'Lantern Jamboree, bring your kids on October 30 or 31, to Fairyland in their best Halloween costume. At the theme park, the kids get to enjoy unlimited rides and there will also be parades, goody bags, treat stations, arts and crafts, pirate school, and balloon twisting, that they can delightfully enjoy. The park's special presentations, courtesy of the Storybook Puppet Theater and the Children's Theater Program, is something you should not missed. Fairyland's admission for the Jack O'Lantern Jamboree is only $10 for everyone between the ages 1 to 100.

When is Alden Lane Fall Festival Held?

The best time to visit the Alden Lane Nursery at Livermore, is during Fall because this is the time where they celebrate the harvest and the arrival of fall in their valley. At this year's Alden Lane Fall Festival, the entire family can really enjoy all sorts of delicious treats and exciting activities. Apple fishing, a candy cart, farm animal petting, and games and crafts with Girl Scouts, are few of the activities that fit to starters. At time when you feel like stretching your legs, then you can wander through Alden Lane's sprawling corn maze and see how long it takes for everyone to come out. There is a pumpkin growing contest and a scarecrow building contest you and the kids can join, if you like a little healthy competition. The Sweet and Savory Bakery will be churning out a variety of oven-fresh pies, and this is all throughout the festival and there will also be a string quartet playing live music all day long.
