Come Relax Australian Style

By Anton Maverick

Exactly what is relaxing? Is it sitting on the terrace of a B and B place, a roadhouse, a luxury resort or typing into google campervan hire Australia and hiring a campervan that will take you on an un precedented journey travelling the wonderful country of Australia. Is it going for a quiet walk on a peaceful bush track where the gum trees offer shade, the magpies and crows communicate with each other in the branches and the points of view are habitually changing.

It is about everything to do with the beach-going surfing, snorkelling, swimming, fishing, mounting around rocky headlands, cruising, sailing, water-skiing and walking along the sand. It is about exploring caves and entrancing rocky formations. It is about driving to places where the air is crisp and fresh and the viewpoints are provoking. It is about playing golf or tennis or maybe finding a good park where the family can play a pleasing game of cricket or just throw a ball to each other. It is about sitting and doing nothing.

Australia offers unique occasions to chill. While many of us are fantasically pleased to unwind beside a beach somewhere, doing little more than sleeping and eating and reading a nicely-crafted book, there are those adventuresome folk who are sure that going to the banks of the Murrumbidgee and throwing a line in, hoping to catch a mouth-watering Murry cod, is just pure heaven. Some like their vacations to be pure five-star luxury.

If you go on one of the Great Barrier Reef cruises and head off to Cooktown, Lizard Island, the outer reef, Hinchinbrook Channel and Dunk Island, you39;ll immeadiately detect a difference between the Australian holiday-makers and the overseas visitors. The overseas visitors take part in pretty much everything. They39;re swimming, snorkelling, running, walking and singing.

Australians on the other hand, lie around and order drinks from the bar. Australians are a grouping of folk who like their leisure. We know how to enjoy our holidays and we know how to relax. Come join us.
