Why Do We Love Staying At Hotels?

by Sam Qam

Room service anyone...

Everyone loves staying at hotels. It is one of life's luxuries, similar to eating in restaurants and taking a taxi. Most can afford these and few mind paying for them. Of course some people appreciate staying at hotels less. For example, those who travel a lot for work. But in general hotel stays are fun and exciting.

So why do we love them so much?

Away from home

On a very basic level, the simple fact that you are away from home is normally enough to make people happy in a hotel. Staying in the same house every day can get boring and with a hotel room you get to live somewhere else, if only for a few days. Waking up and seeing different walls, a different view and not having the same noises and things to do in your own home is new and quite exciting for some.

Pampered

Depending on what sort of hotel you are staying in and for whatever reason, you will on some level feel a little pampered. If you are staying in a luxury 5 star hotel your pampering may be a lot more obvious as you wake up in your Egyptian cotton sheeted king sized bed to a sumptuous breakfast and a day of golfing and spa treatments. However, even staying in a budget roadside hotel you will still be able to appreciate the minor pampering that comes with not having to make your bed or being able to ring reception and ask them to bring you some more toilet roll.

Lazy

There is a certain joy that comes when you know you can be as lazy as you want that you only get with hotels and apartments in the Liverpool city centre. At home even if you can be lazy, there is always the chance that a knock at your door or a phone call could have you on the move all of a sudden. But at a hotel or any other type of Liverpool accommodation you feel separated from the real world, with an anonymous door number between you and the real world that is so easy to shut out. This lets you be as lazy as you want without fear of repercussions.

Exciting

Unless you stay in hotels all the time, chances are you will always find staying in a hotel exciting. The feeling that you have paid to be in this big fancy room with your own TV and bathroom no matter how modest the quality, will always be fun.

Add to this the fact that you will probably be having late lies and enjoying some fun activities and there is certainly a positive spin to be put on things.
