A Tour to Vancouver

Vancouver is an elegant cool city on the West Coast where you can find lots of famous cafes, excellent cuisines and coffee shops. It is located in a place where chains of bays and inlets are flowing, giving the city a spectacular natural atmosphere. The sights, sounds, and people of Vancouver make it a great destination to visit. It's a fabulous shoreline city, located between the mountains and the Pacific Ocean.

If you are from the United States of America, as a traveler you can visit Vancouver, BC Canada by plane via Vancouver International Airport. As passengers from the USA come near Vancouver, they will be astounded by the fantastic scenery, especially so if it is their first time to visit the place. The airport is well laid out for international arrivals with signs clearly directing passengers through Baggage Claim and Canada Customs Border Services Agency.

Individuals worldwide are fascinated with this modern city. When you happen to walk on the street, you will get to hear numerous languages, which is a common scenario. This incredible diversity is reflected in restaurants where you can enjoy continental cuisines. Staying in the city are people from different races which make Vancouver culturally diverse. There are indigenous residents, Filipino, British descendants, Japanese, Chinese, Indo-Pakistan, Italian, German, Scandinavian, French, Dutch, Greek, Ukrainian, Irish and many more.

One of the must see attractions is Stanley Park. It's the biggest and most beautiful urban park in Canada covering over 1000 acres. You can see the sights that are truly amazing with the park. If you feel like walking on the beach, try doing it in the vicinity of the seawall that extends around 10 kilometers. Stanley Park is also home to the Vancouver Aquarium where you can see Orca and Beluga Whales and much more. Nearby the Aquarium there is also a Children's Farmyard and a Miniature Train Ride.

When you visit Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, you will go back in time to 15th Century China. The Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden is the first garden of its kind outside of China. This Garden will give you a glance of the kind of life that the Chinese scholars had through Ming Dynasty.

Grouse Mountain belongs to the North Shore Mountains of British Columbia. This is one of the best locations for outdoor sports activities. In the winter, the mountain features 26 separate ski runs along with an ice rink. Year round activities include the zip lines, an aerial tram, a mountain theater and a wildlife refuge.

If you want more entertainment, visiting Granville Island should not be missed more so if you love and enjoy dealing with different cultures. This 37-acre island is a perfect location for shopping while appreciating pleasant culture. ou can travel to and from Granville Island by the Aquabus which is a fleet of small electric ferries that carry people across False Creek. Granville Island boasts interesting places like the superb public market, sophisticated shops, and numerous gallerias of arts.
