Have A Relaxing Break In The Yorkshire Dales

The Yorkshire Dales are a popular destination with many tourists, with some returning year after year. It has seen many visitors over the years, with some coming for holidays and others visiting for the day. It is a fantastic place for photographers with many splendid views waiting to be photographed.

Whether you are planning a weekend break or a longer holiday, you will find somewhere that will make your break most enjoyable. There are various hotels and bed and breakfasts throughout the area with a lot of them being family run businesses. The area has many restaurants and cafes where you are sure to be well attended to whether you are in for a meal or a cup of coffee.

Many of the towns in the region have become very well known as they have been seen on the screen. Tourists visit these places in the hope that they will be able to spot where parts of films have been made. While visiting they may be lucky enough to spot some of the actors whilst they are filming.

Whilst in the location it is a great opportunity to visit the National park. It will give you a chance to see some glorious scenery and spot some wildlife. There are many different species of plant and animal to see among the beautiful countryside. Many wonderful walks can be had in and around the parks. Dogs are welcome in the parks although they should ideally be kept on their lead at all times.

The National Park is a wonderful place for animal habitats for the various animals that live there. Some of the animals that can be found there include birds, fish, butterflies to name but a few. You will get a chance to see many species whilst visiting the park. Waterfalls are another exciting feature of the parks.

If you are an experienced walker, you will find that there are many walks especially mapped out throughout the Parks. These routes allow the walker to make the most their time visiting the area and see some of the best scenery the district has to offer. You may wish to take a picnic with you and stop and have a relaxing break.

The area is also popular with people looking for a seaside holiday. Scarborough and Whitby being just two of the most popular seaside towns, with splendid beaches and many activities for families with children to enjoy. The place is also a favourite with people who enjoy fishing.

The Yorkshire Dales are a popular place for filming. The spectacular scenery makes it an ideal location for television and cinema screens. Many actors have become familiar with the area over the years.
